We often make these healthy green smoothies to help get some extra greens into our diet.
Start with a bowl of fresh greens ie. spinach, kale, swiss chard, parsley, even romaine lettuce or any combination.
Fill the blender to about 3/4 full of greens.
Add about 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water and blend until smooth.
Add 3-4 bananas, 1 tbsp flax meal and 2 tbsp hemp seeds.
Add some fruit here like strawberries, raspberries, peaches or cherries.
This smoothie looks very green, but it tastes like fruit.

I LOVE GREEN SMOOTHIES!
Lately, I've been adding fresh herbs for extra nutrients and flavor, adding raw chocolate, as well as red jalapeno peppers and habanero peppers. Oh yeah, and I made a smoothie with organic edible flowers. FUN! I have my recipes posted on my blog.
Cheers!

That sounds interesting! Edible flowers in a smoothie.
I tried adding raw chocolate to mine as few times but it was so gritty. But hot peppers and chocolate sound like a great combo.
